HumRRO understands that designing effective leadership development programs requires a deep understanding of what leadership means within an organization’s unique context—how leadership work is performed, and what competencies facilitate outstanding performance.
Our decades of experience conducting job analyses and designing competency models allow us to work as trusted partners with our clients to define leadership requirements within their organizations. This rich experience helps us develop models that truly reflect our clients’ mission and values, and that serve as a solid foundation for the development of leadership assessments and developmental programs.
HumRRO’s leadership competency models also help define career paths, clarifying how leadership duties change across organizational levels.
Our recent work includes:
- Development of executive leadership competency models for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Girl Scouts of America, among others.
- Generating recommendations for how the intelligence community-wide executive leadership competency model developed by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) could be enhanced.
- Clarifying the leadership and technical duties of supervisors at the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA).
