Steve Giammarinaro - Manager


Steve Giammarinaro has more than 20 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and testing. His work covers all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle as it relates to Quality Assurance and testing. He has been involved in establishing software development procedures from small, startup companies with little or no processes, to larger, more established companies with extensive development teams. Giammarinaro also has more than eight years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Manager. He has been involved in managing small scale testing teams as well as significantly larger teams of Quality Assurance Engineers.

Giammarinaro manages and oversees Software Quality Assurance for the Department of Defense, Defense Personnel Assessment Center (DPAC), for test automation, test planning, test case creation, processes, and procedures. DPAC is responsible for the development, maintenance, and delivery of the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), which is administered to more than 1 million examinees per year. The ASVAB test is used to determine qualification for enlistment into the military and into select military occupations. DPAC also develops and maintains the Career Exploration Program (CEP), which provides career guidance to high school students. DPAC also provides internet-based test delivery systems and applications for several special tests and for defense language aptitude and proficiency tests.
