Alexandria, Virginia<\/a>\u2014The Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO), an industry leader offering a science-based approach to talent management, education, assessment, credentialing, and program evaluation, announces the election of Winfred Arthur Jr., Ph.D., to its Board of Trustees<\/a>.<\/p>\n Arthur<\/a> is a professor of Psychology and Management in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Texas A&M University, and a principal in his industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology consulting firm. He specializes in the research, development, implementation, and evaluation of personnel and human resource management systems and programs. Arthur has published in more than 150 publications and is a fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), the Association of Psychological Science (APS), and the American Psychological Association (APA).<\/p>\n \u201cWinfred is a prominent researcher and practitioner in the I-O community, and we couldn\u2019t be more thrilled to have him as a trustee of the Board,\u201d said HumRRO President and CEO, Suzanne Tsacoumis<\/a>, Ph.D. \u201cHis insights on the work we do at HumRRO will be a tremendous asset.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt is an honor and a privilege to be asked to serve on the Board of Trustees at HumRRO,\u201d Arthur said. \u201cI have always considered HumRRO to be the premier researched-based consulting firm, focusing on science as the basis to inform its practices.
