We are very pleased to announce that Angela Lee has recently been elected Secretary of the Personnel Testing Council of Metropolitan Washington (PTCMW). Founded over 40 years ago to provide professional development and networking opportunities to industrial-organizational (I-O) psychologists working in the DC area, PTCMW is now one the largest and most active regional I-O professional groups in the world. Angela previously served as PTCMW Recorder in 2018, joining several of her HumRRO colleagues who have also supported PTCMW through service in various leadership roles over the years.

Angela works as a Research Scientist on projects involving job analysis, competency modeling, and assessment development and validation for a variety of clients, including the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Southern California Edison (SCE) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to joining HumRRO, she worked as an intern on the Talent Analytics team at Qualcomm in San Diego. Angela received her PhD in I-O Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; during graduate school, she served as Alumni and Social Coordinator for the I-O program, departmental representative in the Graduate Student Organization, and as a SIOP volunteer. Angela’s work exploring self-other agreement in leadership perceptions was recently published in The Leadership Quarterly.
