Development of an Entry-Level Process for Field Representatives (Census)
The U.S. Census Bureau is planning to update the selection system for the Field Representative position. As a result, HumRRO developed several new selection tools: a cognitive ability test, a situational judgment test, a structured interview, and a work sample. A criterion-related validation study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the instruments in predicting job performance. Currently, HumRRO is working with the client to resolve implementation issues, including establishing an appropriate cut score.
