Biography/Blurb

Dr. Teresa Russell has more than 20 years of experience in personnel selection and classification. Early in her career, she gained a broad base of experience as a part of the Army's Project A research team, developing spatial and perceptual tests, content-analyzing critical incidents, developing performance rating scales, and collecting and analyzing data. Since that time, she has been involved in the development and validation of predictor measures for numerous projects. For example, she was director of a project to norm and implement valid selection tests for electrical worker apprenticeships nationwide. Test development projects usually begin with a job/practice analysis, and Dr. Russell has been involved in dozens of them for many clients (e.g., Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy). Many of her projects also involved the development of performance measures, either for research only or for operational measures. She has authored book chapters on cognitive ability measurement, measurement plans and specifications, experimental test battery psychometrics, and career planning as well as dozens of technical reports and conference papers.
