Cathy Stawarski - Program Manager
Doug Brown - Senior Scientist
Doug Brown earned both his bachelor's degree in accounting and master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University. Having over seven years of experience at HumRRO, Mr. Brown directs a variety of projects including Web- and paper-based surveys, instructional design, and database management. He frequently provides support for large-scale data collection efforts and educational assessment projects. He is currently directing a classroom training project and managing the data collection, cleaning, and reporting components of a large-scale training evaluation.
JC Caianiello - Senior Staff Scientist
JC Caianiello is a results-driven senior human performance professional with a unique blend of core training skills and broad-based industry experiences. J.C. has over 10 years helping Fortune 500 companies reduce costs, increase productivity, deliver effective training, and implement risk management solutions. J.C.'s expertise is in the areas of instructional design and course development. In addition, he has led numerous multifunctional teams responsible for the reengineering of business processes, procedures, and technology-based systems resulting in cost-effective, work-efficient solutions. J.C. will work on a variety of projects focused on task analysis, training effectiveness, and curriculum development.
Joe Caramagno - Research Scientist
Joe Caramagno supports HumRRO's SPIE group through research and development functions including job task analysis; survey design; graphic design; test item development; data collection, analysis, and reporting; training development and facilitation; and program evaluation. Mr. Caramagno received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from the University of Washington where he studied learning and behavior. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at George Mason University. He has over 10 years of professional experience in personnel management, workforce training, leadership development, sales, marketing, and mental health case management.
Roger Morrell - Senior Staff Scientist
Roger Morrell has over twenty years of experience in the fields of cognitive aging and online health consumer informatics. Dr. Morrell's work as a research scientist and/or adjunct faculty has included positions at the University of Georgia, the University of Michigan; and currently at Johns Hopkins University. His early AARP Andrus Foundation and NIH-funded research focused on constructing training methods for teaching older adults how to use information technology. His later work evolved into the development of the national elder guidelines for accessible online information through the National Institute on Aging and the National Library of Medicine. Dr. Morrell has also served as a private consultant on projects for The National Cancer Institute, the Deployment Health Clinical Center - Walter Reed Hospital, and HRSA. He is editor of the book entitled, 'Older Adults, Health Information, and the World Wide Web', and has presented findings from his research nationally and internationally.
