Paul Sticha - Program Manager
Paul Sticha focuses his work on the development and validation of mathematical models of human information processing, the application of decision-analytic methods to aiding individual and group problem solving, the development of computer decision support systems for planning and design, and the application of advanced technology to aid training and training management. He has a doctorate in Mathematical Psychology from The University of Michigan.
Ani DiFazio - Senior Staff Scientist
Ms. Ani S. Difazio provides data analysis, database management, and project management support for a variety of projects. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data processing and management designs and systems and serves as the technical lead in data-intensive projects. She has served as database manager for a number of large-scale efforts, including an Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) study of workforce attrition, the Foreign Language Recruiting Initiative (FLRI) pilot evaluation study, the NCO21 concurrent validation, the Select21 research, and a test validation effort for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Ms. DiFazio is project director for the operational FLRI program, which is in its third year of implementation. Ms DiFazio was the project director and technical lead for the design, development, and implementation of documentation and archive standards for 25 years of data produced by or for the US Army Research Institute (ARI). She served as technical lead in designing and constructing a database for a program evaluation of the Army Continuing Education System. She has also been the statistical analyst for a number of military surveys, such as the Longitudinal Research on Officer Careers (LROC) Survey and the Survey of Officer Careers (SOC).
Elise Weaver - Senior Scientist
Elise Weaver focuses her work in the area of judgment and decision making, supporting projects in military reenlistment, occupational classification, leader and group decisions, and cyber security and defense. Her methodological toolkit includes judgment analysis, system dynamics simulation modeling and Bayesian modeling. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Duke University.
Monica Gribben - Senior Staff Scientist
Monica Gribben provides research and project management support for a variety of projects, focusing on population representation and military manpower, personnel, and training data and policy analysis. She received her Ph.D. from George Mason University in Human Factors and Applied Cognition.
Mike Ingerick - Senior Scientist
Mike Ingerick has over eight years of applied and basic research experience crafting solutions to a wide range of human resource and personnel management issues. His areas of expertise include personnel selection and classification, leadership, performance assessment, and research methods/statistics. Mr. Ingerick is currently completing his doctoral dissertation in Industrial/Organizational (I-O) Psychology at George Mason University.
Mazie Knerr - Senior Staff Scientist
Ted Diaz - Senior Scientist
Ted Diaz completed his doctoral dissertation in Statistics at The George Washington University. He currently works on a project involved with occupational classification and person-job matching problems. He was a codeveloper of a prototype statistical methodology for assessing internal validation and cross-validation consistency of sample cluster structure.
