Content Alignment Studies

Content Alignment Studies verify links between test items, test coverage, and achievement expectations. HumRRO conducted alignment studies for Kentucky,  Idaho, & California  using alignment procedures developed by Norman Webb and others.

These studies focused on the alignment of the state's content standards with its state assessment.

HumRRO also conducted an alignment study for Kentucky that examined the alignment between the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) and Kentucky content standards.
