The Human Resources Research Organization (HumRRO), an independent nonprofit organization that conducts research and development in human performance, is pleased to sponsor the 11th Annual Meredith P. Crawford Fellowship in I-O Psychology. A one-time award of $12,000 will be provided to a graduate student demonstrating exceptional research skills. The recipient will be required to remain enrolled in the doctoral program, progress satisfactorily towards the completion of the dissertation, and present his/her research during a visit to HumRRO. The financial award will be distributed across three quarterly payments. To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must be a doctoral candidate whose dissertation topic has been proposed and approved by his/her graduate faculty in industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology, or in a field congruent with the objectives of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Inc. (SIOP). Since one of the purposes of the Fellowship is to provide financial support while the student completes his/her dissertation, the applicant must have one year remaining in the doctoral program and be actively involved in the research process. Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of their research promise, academic achievement, and professional productivity. Finalists may be interviewed. The selection will be announced at or before the SIOP conference in April 2008. For application procedures and materials, visit our website at www.humrro.org. HumRRO must receive all required application materials on or before March 14, 2008. Applications should be mailed to: Jessica Terner, HumRRO, 66 Canal Center Plaza, Suite 400, Alexandria, Virginia 22314. Questions may be directed to Jessica Terner at 703-706-5687 or jterner@humrro.org.
